Paper choices

Hahnemühle Hemp (290gsm)

Founded in the 1500s Hahnemühle is a celebrated German paper manufacturer who offers unparalleled quality and attention to detail. The Hemp paper is part of their Natural Line, which centres on using sustainable materials to produce quality papers that are kinder to the planet. This paper, made of a blend of 60% hemp and 40% cotton, has a lightly textured surface and a pleasant, silky feel. The Hemp fibres provide a bright white colour without the need for optical brighteners.

At 290gsm, it is slightly thinner then the Canson Infinity paper, so would work best for framed prints or if you plan to keep your print in its biodegradable wrapping with the cardboard backing.

Canson Infinity Somerset Enhanced Velvet (330gsm)

This Canson Infinity paper most striking quality is its unique velvety feel. With a smooth finish, the paper almost feels like silk as your hand glides across it. Produced in Somerset at St Cuthberts Mill in England, the artisan papermakers use a traditional cylinder mould to create the look and feel of a handmade paper. St Cuthberts Mill have been making paper since the 1700’s, so choosing this paper will connect your print to a long history of paper making.

This would be a great choice if you’re passionate about the feel of your paper as well as if you prefer a thicker paper for your prints.

Packaging

Your prints are packaged in fully recyclable packaging and will arrive flat. The prints are presented in a biodegradable transparent wrapping and supported by a cardboard backing, perfect to give as gifts or even to display as they are.
